Bill Magness joined ERCOT in 2010, and became ERCOT’s president and chief executive officer in January 2016. Mr. Magness represents the Independent System Operator/Regional Transmission Organization (ISO/RTO) sector on the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Member Representatives Committee, is a member of the Executive Committee of the ISO/RTO Council, and serves on the Advisory Board of the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station Smart Grid Center.
Dub Taylor is the Director of the State Energy Conservation Office (SECO), which is operated by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. Under his direction, SECO helps the state make the most of domestically-produced energy, reduce state and local government energy costs and promote cost-effective clean energy technologies. SECO’s mission is to maximize energy efficiency while protecting the environment.
Congressman Andy Levin is the proud representative for Michigan’s 9th District. Andy helped create Michigan’s Green Jobs Initiative in 2008 and the Green Jobs Report in 2009. He went on to create the Michigan Academy for Green Mobility Alliance (MAGMA), which trained hundreds of unemployed and incumbent engineers to electrify cars. In 2011, Andy founded Levin Energy Partners LLC as an entrepreneurial force to help shape Michigan’s and America’s energy future.
